Hydraulic vertical displacement sensor

The SHM Profiler is a hydraulic vertical displacement sensor designed for automatic measurements. It comprises a central sensing tube, a compensation tube, and a system of outer tubes that equalize the temperature along the entire monitored length. It has a special, patented thermal autocompensation system, thanks to which it is possible to conduct measurements in construction conditions. Failure to take into account the effect of temperature changes on the lengths of hydraulic sensors has often led to drawing incorrect conclusions from measurements performed with other devices.

SHM Profiler has unique properties, such as: a very large measurement range (up to 9 m), very high deformability of the materials from which it is built (up to several hundred percent) and the ability to analyze displacements along lines of about 200 m.

The sensor can be used in geotechnical structures (landslides, mining areas, railway and road embankments), hydrotechnical structures (dams), bridges and other building and engineering structures.
